Dear Kolesnikov, On behave of all my staff in Vanilla Suite Jimbaran, we are really sad to hear that you didn’t have a good time staying in our villa. Normally, we do not respond to every negative review, as we fully understand and respect our honored guests’ personal preferences. However, we think that there’s some misunderstanding and misleading information in your review, we see the need to explain. As we unfold the story from our end, hope it could answer and respond to all your doubts and concerns. Meanwhile, we hope our future guests who read this review and reply can have a good understanding of the story. The story is here; You checked in at night. We guided you to the small room which you booked by Booking.com. However, you told us that is not the room you booked and you payed for a bigger room. We have 3 types of rooms and they are all clearly listed on the main page of Booking.com. Unfortunately, the booking condition we received from Booking.com was small room and it is what you booked. If you click the room with the price or size you desire on booking.com, you can see the room with the relevant pictures. But it seems that you did not pay close attention on checking the details . We think that the system of Booking.com was not to confuse the customers, but maybe it is not so clear to you. Unfortunately, it is out of our hands to control the web design of booking.com. After knowing that you are not satisfied with your booking, we both wanted to cancel the booking, but the office of Booking.com was already closed at that time and we were not able to reach out. It was also too late to book and move to another accommodation. Although we do not have the responsibility for your miss-booking, we promised you that we cancel your booking the next day. We even offer you one complimentary night stay at our villa. That one night complimentary was not common because we cannot let all the customers, who cancel on the very day, stay complimentarily. Next day, we got a phone call from our manager that we could not offer you the 1 night free stay in the end because Booking.com cannot accept to cancel booking on the very day regardless of hotels or villas. Please bare in mind that you booked our villa for 28 nights, thus, we could not accept any other guests for those days since 1 months ago. For as long as 2 months. This is a massive loss and an unpleasant matter for us. Yet, with our sincerity and consideration for you, we continuously treated you with a smile by the following day you leave. Now, let me clarify your malicious review. Firstly The man who you praised that was polite and friendly to you is the host of this villa, not staff. There wasn’t enough time for you to meet our staff as you checked in around 7 o’clock in the evening and checked out 10ish in the morning. Secondly The price of the small room is 500k and you were telling us that we need to lower the price. Then, do we have to sell the room with the price of 150k even though everything is furnished and well equipped? Do you truly think that you can find the same quality of room including breakfast with that price in Bali? I doubt it. Thirdly: We told "booking.com" company to refund 'All paid money' So I know You already took most of the refund. You booked for 28days. And you wanted to cancel the order just on your check-in day. So we cannot sell this room that you booked for 28days and canceled. because of your cancellation our business has suffered a lot Forth. How on earth could you book for a hotel with 4 stars with the price of 500k/night? I wonder. Fifth. The photos on the website of Booking.com contain not only each room but also common space of the villa. The photos and sizes of each room are obviously noted but you did not check them properly. Sixth. Spiders do not exist at the villa. Furthermore, it is not dirty as you can find out through the other reviews. And the middle of ceiling of the bathroom consists of glass window which is balinese style in order to allow the sunlight and wind come in. A number of bathrooms in Bali have no ceilings, and some of raindrops can be fallen between the gap. Seventh. We offered a complimentary room for a night for you who could not find any other accommodation. Also we have no reason to offer you a breakfast and you did not even come down to have breackfast. I made sure of it from our staff. What was the breakfast that morning? What was horrible? A number of our guests compliment on our breakfast as shown in the reviews. It might not be so splendid, but we spend lots of money beside room charge for fresh food ingredients and a chef. The chef cooks in an open kitchen area and make breakfast one by one for its cleanliness and freshness. Eighth. The location of the villa is indicated on the web page. You can check even nearby tourist attraction and its distance. Please check the details including its location next time. The choice is on our customers . Nineth. How much did you pay for the hotel of 90m² in Dubai? Is it common to compare those that are very different? I wonder if it was a 500k(35USD) per a night. Tenth. Everything is ok. We can be patient with your cursed and vicious review. The only one you make us upset is that all the heartful reviews we received for a year became nothing and trumped up by you. The sincerity of our visitors was damaged by your unreasonable review. You, slept over 8 hours out of 12 hours of your stay, never know our sincerity and our villa’s goal. Would you be able to make fake reviews with the grade of 9.6 out of 10 with over 100 reviews from a variety of nationalities? Do us a favour. Wherever you stay, mind your manners. There are so many people who do their business enthusiastically and sincerely.
