Отель понравился - старинный и атмосферный, это очень интересный опыт. Останавливались в представительском люксе - все чисто и комфортно.
Есть проблема с регулировкой воды - либо очень горячая, либо холодная...

Я относилась к ночевке в этом отеле как к части атмосферного путешествия в Александрию, поэтому, закрывая глаза на комфорт (см минусы), осталась в целом очень довольна. 1) Место с историей. Тут вам и Сомерсэт Моэм жил, и Уинстон Черчилль. Есть в этом свое очарование. Исторический лифт и ставни на окнах — красивый и приятный бонус к атмосфере. 2) Отличное расположение. В центре всей жизни. И близко до всего на свете. 3) Замечательный и очень доброжелательный персонал. Не всегда хватает профессионализма, но очень стараются. 4) Вид из окна на красивые исторические фасады, а в бок — на Средиземное море! 5) Отличнейший бар и персонал там. Правда чай в пакетике меня разочаровал (ну ребята!). Но в остальном блестяще и атмосферно!
1) очень маленький номер. На 1 человека было ок. Но там стояли две кровати и вдвоем было бы уже не развернуться. 2) заказывала завтрак в номер, кофе не принесли. 3) Пододеяльники — старые и в катышках. Я от них на утро вся чесалась. И это странно, потому что простыни и наволочки — идеальные, а вот оба пододеяльника были не очень. А теперь главное (допускаю, что это мои капризы), но я полночи из-за них не могла уснуть. 4) ВОНЬ! невозможная. Пахнет канализаций (мочей, если быть точной). Так и не поняла откуда, потому что в ванной за всеми ароматизаторами такого запаха нет, только в спальне. Перенюхала всю кровать — всё чистое свежее. когда через 40 минут реально не смогла уснуть, пошла нюхать ковролин, тоже всё ок. Источник не найден, но вонь кошмарная. 5) Индикатор на кондиционере. Кондиционер новый, чистенький и отлично работающий (это отлично). НО. номер очень маленький, кондиционер висит на потолке, а его индикатор горит ОЧЕНЬ ярко, освещая кровать, как маленький фонарь. Для тех, кто привык спать в полной темноте, может быть сильно некомфортно.

Есть вещи характерные для всего Египта: немного нерабочий фен (нужно держать кабель, чтобы работал), гле-то сломано переключение душа

Персонал отзывчивый, постельное белье было чистое, интересный старинный лифт.
Я думаю номер в котором мы жили нуждается в небольшом ремонте. При заезде ванна была грязная. С утра половина электроприемников в номере перестали работать (освещение, фен). Вода в умывальнике абсолютно не регулировалась, либо горячая либо холодная. Думаю следует заменить смеситель.
